It's Almost Spring

And you know what that means.  Spring cleaning.  Whether you have a big house or a small one, the work is still massive when you are the one who's doing it.  Here's what I would like to do but not sure when it's all going to get done: When I finally do open the windows, vacuum the screens and window sills with the dust buster which is dying by the way (note to self, on next shopping spree to Walmart, get a new mini vac). While mini-vacuuming, I might as well get those dust webs in the corners where the ceiling meets the wall.  I dare not call them cobwebs cause those are created by spiders and if my mind even has me thinking that those are running around the house.........let's just say, the mini-vac is going to be busy this year. Oh and one more thing with the mini-vac, once done with the ceiling, might as well get the dust in the corners where they wall meets with the floor molding in the corners.   Then there's always dusting.  But now that the sun is

Santa Gets Trained

Yes it is almost that time of year where every shopping place you go to is rich with the men in big red suits who are there to help the kids of Britain and the World have a great christmas. So of course with all of new gadgets out this year none of the trainee Santa’s have any idea on what the children are going to be asking for which poses a problem as they cannot talk to the kids about the products. PC World has come forward to help out all of these Santa’s. PC World are certainly not the best people for this as whenever I go into one of their stores and ask them something they never seem to know or I get the normal grunt! But anyway in theory they are around to teach all of these new recruits the gadgets the kids are going to ask for like the DS, Xbox 360, Digital Camera and whatever else a kid is after. This is sill and does not need to happen at all. I do not a kid that sees Santa that knows hte exact specs od any of these things? All they should be told is the name of

Chanel Bags 2010 Spring-Summer

Although Fashion Week Spring2010 was held last year, now I just want to say something about Chanel tote at Fashion Week. As we've known Chanel tote are totally classic, sophisticated and refined, they also know what's hot and not for the season. And now spring is just around the corner, I would say what is new in its Spring 2010 collection. They used raffia, ribbons and fabric flowers to design their bags for next season. Your shopping bag is adorned with a tissue tweed flower Lemarie, and interlaced chain and pendant Chanel signature on the canvas and metal. All this suggests an atmosphere of spring. They are very beautiful and the realization of this type of bag to make one in the trend and very chic. This is made of woven raffia, and that light is the perfect material to complement the atmosphere of the season. Although as a building season, Chanel tote are still trying to put his signature style, which is the use of padded leather. You can clearly see in the handle, the d

Our First Day in Icheon

Hi guys, its been a long time since my last update eh. Whats new? Well as of 12:30 in the afternoon last Friday we arrived here in Icheon, to our new place of residence for one year or so. When we arrived the apartment was not yet ready, they're still fixing and cleaning it because the last occupant just left or let me say was just going to left at 3:30 PM (lol). So it was really a rush job cleaning the apartment, well to entertain ourselves and mainly kill our time hubby and I just roam around the place, familiarizing the neighborhood and loiter around the shopping center. Looking for supermarket, food mart, gymn and etc., around five in the afternoon we went to hubby's new school to see his new classroom and get the schedule from his co-teacher. The room was nice, so mellow-yellow.., unfortunately the apartment was not yet ready so hubby and I went to E-mart, Jade (hubby's co-teacher) drive us there with her car. OMG! Our cart is overflowing with goods, utensils and etc., You know w

What a week!

[Not actually my car, but mine is identical]I have had a wonderful week off. On Monday and Tuesday I managed to paint a few things that I have been meaning to do for ages and ages. I also reupholstered that chair I have had for over a year. On Wednesday I went to pick up my lovely little Rav - some might think I have down graded, but I've got a great little car I can drive in the snow and ice, I've paid off the car loan on my previous car and got enough left over to pay off my credit card. Plus, I've got myself a cute little car that I've been bombing around in.I also went to Claridges for afternoon tea on Wednesday with my mum. Here we are enjoying tea and cakes. On Thursday and I went shopping and bought some new clothes (mainly dresses because I love wearing dresses) using my birthday money. I also cleaned out the lovely chooks. On Friday I went to boot camp first thing and then popped to Bristol to see Tim's family. On Saturday we went all round the charity shops and bric a brac shop

a new ride for this year

The unrelenting winter weather is finally letting up in Northeast Ohio. It’s been in the 40s and sunny for 4 straight days and the forecast only gets better this coming week. Snow is slowly and steadily receding. We can actually see some grass and most of our shrubs. For the past 2 months I’ve been researching and shopping for a new bike. Last year I began cycling on a regular basis. My 15 year only Sears mountain bike has served me well. but it was time to retire it. In addition to visiting these local bike shops, I took several bike maintenance classes. I knew I needed to learn the basics of tire repair and brake and gear adjustment. It was also a good way to learn more about the bike shops and their staff. I ended up buying a Kona Dew Plus from Blimp City Bikes on Merriman Road in the valley. I had narrowed the search to a Fuji Absolute 2 or the Dew Plus. Both bikes are fitness hybrids. The Fuji tended to be a little more road bike-like. The Kona more mountain bike like. The

Money Management Tips

I have a friend who is not out of the author to buy her groceries - I ordered them online. In an interview with Singapore, in an interview with a local magazine, she noted that knows how to manage their money and time. It is not spent on care for the daily shopping in the corridor, and check the line, and then having to pay parking fees and expensive gasoline. In remote areas visited in her apartment, and I can understand why it is wise to choose online shopping. A consultant rate of $ 500/hour, and the value of time and can be turned into a source of income the negative lead to her, and energy - writing self-help books. Her six books in the pipeline - all commissioned by her publisher, and I can see her laughing in my mind's eye her way to the bank. There is also a friend who does not eat in restaurants, not even during the Chinese New Year. She called me to have a delicious meal on the fourth day of the celebrations of the Chinese New Year brothers cooked. Live in a small country of
